I had a conversation with Ron Sparks recently in which he mentioned that someone using Cabin 4 had left on a cooking stove burner knob when they departed at the end of the stay. When he entered Cabin 4 to clean it, he smelled gas fumes and therefore did not turn on any light switches, turned off the gas burner knob on the stove, opened all windows and doors and let the cabin air out before re-entering. This could have caused a fire, explosion and serious damage and injury.

This particular stove has knobs that can be accidently turned on by simply bumping them or leaning against them. Please pay attention to them as they may emit gas but not ignite.

PLEASE BE REMINDED TO CHECK AND TURN OFF ALL COOKING STOVE BURNERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE ANY OF THE CABINS!

      Thanks.
