Thursday evening, 3/12/26, a fire was started by a downed power line in the Niobara valley. With 50-70 mph winds behind it the fire rapidly burned SE and burned into the Snake Canyon and jumped the canyon and finally was contained at highway 97. The cross to the east side was approximately at the junction of the Prairie Club and SFR. Fire are still burning in the canyon watch by fire fighters. No buildings on SFR were damaged.
