On my reach upstream of the Little Sandy, I have found several Peachleaf willows growing. This is a native plant and usually begins as bush and may grow up to be a tree. I started seeing one sprout about 2 years ago and there presence is exciting. Once you get the cattle off, nature can recover and it is amazing what used to be there in days long gone. The hope is that they spread downstream. I threw a few photos in for your viewing pleasure.
